What is Hangarr?

Can we track maintenance?
Club admins or a plane's designated manager can schedule maintenance. Grounded aircraft can't be booked until they're cleared.
What does it cost?
The flight log is free. Plus is €10 per aircraft, per month for full club management, and Pro is €15 per aircraft, per month adding the whole training system.
Do members have to pay?
No. Billing is per aircraft and charged to the club, so individual members never pay.
How does Hangarr's in-app money work?
Members pay the club outside Hangarr, then request a top-up in the app. Once the payment arrives, the club's secretary or chairman approves it and the amount is added to the member's balance. The secretary can export all transactions as a CSV to reconcile with the bank statement. Hangarr does not move real money, and clubs can turn this feature off.
Is Hangarr suitable for flight schools?
Absolutely. The app is built to support larger flight schools as well.
Who is Hangarr for?
Hangarr is designed for flying clubs and flight schools that want to replace Google Calendars and WhatsApp groups with one unified tool.
Can I try Hangarr for free?
Yes. The flight log is free with no credit card required, and the Plus and Pro tiers come with a 30-day free trial.
How do we get started?
Open the app, create an account, create your club and invite your members. Creating your club takes just a couple minutes and doesn't cost anything.
Where is Hangarr's data stored?
Data is stored on servers located in Europe. Hangarr does not collect location data and does not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Is there an iOS or Android app?
Hangarr runs in the browser and can be added to your phone's home screen, where it opens and works like an app. iPhone: open app.hangarr.app in Safari, tap the Share icon and choose Add to Home Screen. Android: open app.hangarr.app in Chrome, tap the menu in the top right corner and choose Add to Home screen or Install app. There is nothing to download from an app store.
Can I belong to more than one club?
Yes. The same user account can be a member of several clubs or co-ownership groups.
Does Hangarr work outside Finland?
Yes. Hangarr works anywhere and billing works from any country. The interface is available in Finnish, English and Swedish.
Does the electronic flight log meet regulatory requirements?
Yes. Hangarr's flight log meets regulatory requirements and follows the EASA logbook format (AMC1 FCL.050): departure and arrival places and times, aircraft type and registration, single-pilot and multi-pilot time, total time, name of PIC, day and night landings, night and IFR time, pilot function time (PIC, co-pilot, dual, instructor), FSTD sessions, and remarks and endorsements. The logbook can be printed and exported as PDF and CSV.
Can I export my data from Hangarr?
Yes. The flight log exports as PDF and CSV, and the club secretary can export credit transactions as a CSV to reconcile with the bank statement.
